HI, I'M ERICA
I’m an interior designer with a background in architecture and a life shaped by living in different parts of the world. I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro and have since lived in the U.S., Australia, South Korea, and Spain. Those places—and the way people live in them—have deeply influenced how I think about home, space, and design.
Although my training is in architecture, my work today is focused entirely on interior design. I specialize in full-home transformations, helping clients create cohesive, thoughtful interiors that feel both elevated and comfortable. I also work room by room, often on kitchens, bathrooms, and main living areas, bringing the same level of care and attention to detail no matter the scale of the project.
I don’t design around trends or what’s popular in the moment. I care more about proportion, materials, and choices that feel right long-term—spaces that will still make sense years from now. My goal is always to create interiors that feel timeless, personal, and easy to live in.
My work goes beyond layouts and finish selections. I help my clients furnish and style their homes, source and procure pieces, and oversee installation so everything comes together as intended. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed by decisions, and a big part of my role is to simplify the process, guide them with clarity, and take care of the details so the experience feels calm and manageable.
On a personal level, my understanding of home is closely tied to family. I’m a mother of three children, each born in a different country, and that experience has shaped the way I design. I know firsthand that a home needs to be beautiful, but also practical, flexible, and supportive of real life.
Based in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, I work with clients who value thoughtful design, quality, and a more personal, boutique approach. I believe a well-designed home should feel natural and effortless—beautiful without trying too hard, and meaningful to the people who live in it.
